Downloadables July 15 - 22 2007

This week's PSN release is Castlevania: Symphony of Darkness. Unlike the recent XBLA version this is just a port, no HD improvements or achievments add-ons, just classic unbridled gameplay. The odd thing is this title comes at almost double the price of most of the PSOne games on the PSN. If you just gotta play another Castlvania game, go for it. But I'd hold off to teach them not to mess with pricing schemes.

For those that thought the recent Wii release was a little too super, regular Paper Mario is now available on the Virtual Console, along side the classic golbophobe's nightmare, Balloon Fight. Silent Debuggers is also available, but noone will buy it because we have no clue what it is.

On the XBLA we're getting a double dose of deliciousness with Bomberman Live! finally hitting to let you blow up your schoolmates without attracting Jack Thompson's wrath. We're also getting, Yie Ar Kung Fu, the first game on the XBLA that will have you goin, "Oh, those crazy Japanese!".
