Downloadables: June 23-30 2007

Argh, I hate it when Virtual Console games tempt me. F-Zero X is fun, hella fun. I spent hours with this game back in the late 90's. However, 1000 points? Street Fighter II Turbo is a no-go I already have a beefcake version for the 360 and I have never in my life even heard of China Warrior.

Carcassonne on the other hand is a completely different story. I got some sit-down time with this when the folks from the Gamerscore Blog were in Toronto and this is one of the better indie titles. I was a big fan of Catan when it came out (I got the board game for my birthday :P), and this is in much the same vein. Slow, casual, strategic fun sums up the title and I'm always down for a little lighter gaming. I do need some downtime to clean my chainsaws.

Xbox Live Arcade:
- Carcassonne (800)

Wii Virtual Console:
- F-Zero X (N64, 1000)
- Street Fighter II Turbo (SNES, 800)
- China Warrior (Turbo Graphx-16, 600)
