Rooster Teeth's Revenge: 1-800-MAGIC

With the end of Red Versus Blue the question on everyone's mind surrounding the machinima studio, what's next. With a few rumours still flying around about a Caboose spin-off and other projects in the prep, noone really looked into another major possibility, Shadowrun. 1-800-Magic, Rooster Teeth's new project is a humourous series in the magical/tech world of Shadowrun. The first episode went live both on their website, and Xbox Live Marketplace simultaneously. The download is free at either venues and the series will be continuing in a similar fashion to the way Red Vs. Blue was released.

I'm not too sure how I feel about the new series yet, I think I need to se more to give a genuine opinion on the topic. However, I do want to see more so I think it's on the ups so far. I like the use of the universe for comedic effect, but I think the definition in each character's physical appearance is a bit of a turn-off for me right now.

The voices totally ruin it. Plus the actual dialogue isn't all that great.

I agree, it's no RvB, but I'm warming to it quite quickly.

Tsk, tsk, tsk. Up until this point I've agreed with everything you've said on this blog, now it seems we don't have anything in common anymore. Lol. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

You'll see. It won't be a replacement for RvB, but you'll watch it.

I'll watch it like a widowed sailor's wife watches the sea. In mourning.
