Blizzard Gives Your Life 10 More Levels of Meaning

Straight from Blizzcon comes news that Blizzard's formerly secret project is in fact a new World of Warcraft expansion pack. Wrath of the Lich King, will give players the chance to explore Northrend. We last saw the snowy lands of Azeroth in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne where the newly crowned Lich King, Arthas sits waiting upon the icy furniture waiting for global warming to release him.

Players will also be able to reach level 80, giving the addicts something slightly more useful to do with their time. In addition, new quests (duh), items, and monsters await. To spice up the drab environment, WoWers will have more options when it comes to hair styles, skin colours, and new dances. For the first time ever a new class will be added. The Death Knight, will give the Horde a chance to play the anti-paladin they've always wanted to.

It's hard to analyse the World of Warcraft phenomena, or Blizzard in general. They are the most straight-forward game company out there. Make a product, make it well, and make it available are the keys to success in any consumer related industry and Blizzard has nailed it. For anyone looking to invest in a game company, now may be the time to do it, with Wrath of the Lich King in the near future and Starcraft II on the horizon Blizzard is looking to make a lot of money over the next few quarters.
